23rd Annual TOY RUN
Ride for a cause, and join us for Toy Run 2010 on October 3rd to benefit the Santa Cops of Larimer County! Bring TOYS! CASH donations are also accepted. This event is organized by the Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson, and all vehicles are welcome to ride! Registration starts at 9am; the run starts at 10am from Thunder Mountain and will be back by noon. Food is FREE for all participants!
Santa Cops are representatives from Fort Collins Police Services, Loveland Police Department, Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado State University Police, and countless private individuals and businesses. These individuals volunteer for this non-profit organization to help underprivileged kids have a Merry Christmas by bringing three small gifts to their homes. To be eligible, the families must reside in Larimer County.
The event will also promote a positive image for our Law Enforcers. This is a great opportunity for children to experience the support our officers provide, as well as the concern and understanding they can receive in times of trouble. Each Christmas season, our officers personally deliver these presents to the children of the families that apply for the program.
A child’s spirit is so strong that no matter what battles he must face in life, there is always HOPE in his eyes. Let’s share the true meaning of the season, Giving, and put smiles on those faces in this coming Christmas season by helping out our Santa Cops and participating in Toy Run 2010!
