Four more days… Two Big Giants…

One Rocking Venue. Four more days to go until the two big top giants of College Football, the Colorado University BUFFALOES vs. Colorado State University RAMS collide and face each other in one of the most exciting games of the year and get this, taking place once again at Invesco Field at Mile high which was exactly the same place were the two giants last had a showdown in 2008 with the Buffaloes winning that year. Moving forward to 2010, I am just as excited as anyone in Fort Collins and all over Colorado to see these two rival teams take each other head on and I am so sure that the whole stadium will be crowd packed. As I’ve heard as the Rocky Mountain Showdown Looms, football preparation continues and both sides have set up different tactics such as mimicking game day environment and many more. Let’s get into the spirit of the state’s biggest and best rivalry and root for your team. Are you a BUFFALO fan? Or a RAMS at heart?

Kittle Team's First Annual Client Appreciation BBQ Party

Charming location, beautiful weather and one memorable celebration. On July 24, 2010, everyone from the Kittle Team and Rob Kittle himself threw a fun BBQ day as a big thank you to their clients at the Fossil Creek Park Lake Pavilion, showcasing the team's care and efforts for their new and former clients through this one big fun-filled event.

A fun and beautifully decorated buffet table for the guests was filled with BBQ, burgers, coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, chips, fruit and overflowing ice-cold tasty beverages.

Guests were treated to a yummy feast and entertainment that day, with games such as beanbag toss, ladder golf and water balloons, and kids playing in the water park. The fun didn’t stop there though, and as soon as the net was set up, the volleyball game was the highlight of the day as participants who joined in for some friendly competition. Jeff Daniels dove for numerous balls without much success and our very own Rob Kittle had a killer serve that day. All in all, the entire event was full of laughter and fun, and it was a smashing success.

Rob Kittle said, “We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! Thank you to everyone who made it. We can’t wait until next year.”

US Gran Prix of Cyclocross: Series Moving to Fort Collins, CO in November 2010

The 2010 USGP kicks off on the weekend of September 25th and 26th Aas the Series returns for its second year to Sun Prairie, WI for The Planet Bike Cup. The Series continues on to Louisville, KY October 23rd and 24th for the Derby City Cup - to be run at the future home of the 2012 Masters and 2013 Masters and Elite World Cyclocross Championships.
In November the USGP moves to a new venue -  Fort Collins, CO on November 13th and 14th - before rolling to its traditional series final, the Stanley Portland Cup, in Portland, OR, on Dec. 4th and 5th.
The decision to move the Series to Fort Collins this year is very exciting.  For the last several years a number of communities have expressed interest in bringing the USGP back to Colorado but until now the organizers hadn't found the right fit.
The idea to bring the USGP Event to Fort Collins all started with a simple conversation as Meredith Miller, (a USGP cyclocross superstar) approached Ben Miller, (President of Northern Colorado Cycling Events (NCCE), a grass-roots cycling forum) about the potential to bring a USGP Event to Fort Collins, which made sense knowing how there were so many cyclocross talents who call Fort Collins home.
From there it was brought to the attention of the NCCE letting Fort Collins and their cohesive cycling community sold itself to the USGP. Fort Collins is also home to Georgia Gould, and new junior phenom, Skyler Trujillo. The professionalism of the USGP was very apparent and made them comfortable and hopeful that they will host the USGP for the long term in Fort Collins. According to the organizers, they made a visit and soon discovered Fort Collins had a very active cycling community which already embraced the event as their own.
Tyler James of the Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau hinted at what it means for the vibrancy of the City. "Fort Collins has always been a 'bike friendly' community and now we get the chance to host one of the most exciting bike races in the country."
The Cooperation between Fort Collins and USGP in such a short time along with the willing support of the Fort Collins Bike Community to make this happen proves toward a great event putting USGP and Fort Collins on the map for a long time to come.
